Company Background/Community Support

Established in 1976, The Water Specialist remains locally and family owned, and unlike many other companies in the water industry, we are not a franchise. We strive to provide the highest quality of service to our customers and believe in building strong relationships through honesty and accountability.

The Region's Leader

Our experience with water treatment, well pumps, water well services, septic services, customer service, and our dedication to constant growth, help maintain the solid reputation of The Water Specialist.

Why is the reputation of The Water Specialist so strong? It's simple. We stand behind our products and services with an absolute commitment to the customer.

Highly-Trained & Knowledgeable Team

We are able to remain an industry leader year after year quite simply because of our people. We field teams of trained, dedicated technicians in an effort to provide a high level of service that is not readily available in the water treatment and well contracting business. In addition, the technicians are backed up by an administrative staff with a goal of 100% customer satisfaction.

All our technicians and field personnel spend 1-2 years as an apprentice assistant prior to working in the field on their own. We offer continuous training both in the classroom and in the field.

The Water Specialist is recognized as a "living wage" employer!

Community Outreach

Being a homegrown company, a strong relationship with our community is important to us. We are always looking for ways to engage and support community organizations and individuals. One of our more recent endeavors has been with Josh's Hope Foundation, just outside of Hillsborough, helping to build their shop bathroom.

Josh’s Hope Foundation serves residents of Central North Carolina, ages 18-35 who live with mental health conditions and/or struggle with a substance disorder.  They provide vocational skills, job preparedness, independent life skills and therapeutic supports customized to meet the individual needs of participants. "At Josh’s Hope, we believe that all young people struggling with mental-health issues deserve the support and resources they need to build a rewarding life. We want to remove obstacles and create opportunities for them," Josh's Hope Foundation, Inc.
