Hi, I recently had some iron issues with the well water of a rental property. I called a few companies to get some estimates. Your sales tech came out to the property, tested the water and knew exactly how to fix the iron problem. Being very knowledgeable, he was able to answer any question I had. He wrote me up a proposal with a 100% guarantee and a 5 year parts and labor warranty. WOW! None of the other companies could come close to this guarantee or warranty. The price was bottom line with no sales tricks, haggling or negotiating(I really liked this. I am trying to get my water fixed, not buy a car).So, with such a great guarantee and warranty, I chose TWS. I thought "if they can offer that much, they must know what they are doing and stand behind their products and services". The installation tech showed up at the house on time and ready to install the water filter. Insallation only took a few hours. After installation, he explained to my tenant and me what to expect with this new filter and answered every question or concern we had. When installation was complete, he left the house just as clean as before he arrived. Just note, after installation was complete and the water filter was running like it should, he noticed that my well pump was not running correctly. Instead of saying "it's not our problem, it's not what's in the contract or you need to call a plumber to fix that", he figured out what the problem was. It took him 5 minutes to make a couple adjustments and fix the problem. He was not going to leave until everything was running correctly. That's the kind of people and businesses I like to do repeat business with and recommend to others. This is probably the first instances where I have been completly, 100% satisfied with the work performed. My only regret is not calling TWS sooner.

We realized that we had no water from our well late Saturday afternoon. I called your dispatcher. Your tech called and said he had to finish a job that day and, as it was late already, he said he would come at 9:30 AM the next day (Sunday). We were very thankful someone would come on a Sunday and were impressed when they arrived right on time. They diagnosed the problem in a short while, and we were going to need a new well pump and a new pressure tank. Our hearts sank, figuring this would take days to fix—part ordering and etc. We asked, how long? He says, about 4 hours. We say, today?? He says, yes! We were impressed that when The Water Specialist says “emergency service”, that’s just what it means! They went to work quietly and efficiently. They finished in even less time than predicted and they cleaned up everything completely. He wrote a detailed description of the work and they spent some time talking with us and patiently answering our questions. We know they are busy and we really appreciated that they did that. We learned a lot. So, in about 20 hours after we first called you, we had water back. It was as smooth a process as one could hope for.
Lastly, we had complained that our well has a tendency to freeze up in the winter. As promised, a few days later, hw stopped by and installed a well bag. The new water system has been working very well and we are happy to know that as part of our 5 year warranty there will be yearly maintenance checks on the system, helping to protect our investment.

My toothbrush is getting super hard again after it dries having used the tap water, which was what was happening before after a rain and the water went bad. In fact, it was fine for a week or so after the chlorine shock, but then it started doing that to my toothbrush again. Thinking the house systems aren't used to whatever the new water composition is? Anyway, we need to figure out what the deal is there.

C and T installed a filter and softener system for us. They were professional and thorough, as well as friendly. They explained what they were doing and answered all our questions. They also went beyond the call of duty, making adjustments to our well-head and diagnosing a problem with our water tank. The system worked well, but after a few days the RO water still tasted funny. I called and C came back to the house and fixed the problem. He also tried to figure out why our ice-maker wasn't working.
Soon afterward, our water started started to taste good. We haven't yet tested to irrigation system to see if the new filter prevents it from clogging (the irrigation system needs some repairs first), but we expect it will work.

We have been very pleased with our decision to solve our water problems via your company. We found S , our sales person, to be very helpful, knowledgable, personable and thorough. Your installers have also been all of the above except for one instance. When our water system was installed a male brass adapter was placed into a female PCV pipe. This caused the pipe to crack and start spewing water out into the basement crawl space. The erosion of the dirt on whick the salt tank was placed caused the tank to tip over. If we had not been at home and heard the full salt tank fall over we would not have been aware of the leak and a major problem could have developed. Fortunately our phone call for assistance brought a quick response.

I am satisfied with the work done by C and T . I don't see the stains like I saw before. The only issue that I have with the system is the noise it makes around 2 am every now and then. This system is in my crawl space, directly under my bed room and it is waking me up at night when it makes this noise for 10 minutes or so every now and then. I had asked if it was the 'flushing' of the system if it could be done sometime during the day light hours and now in the wee hours of the morning. It still makes this noise. If someone knows what this loud noise is at 2 am and can fix it I'd really appreciate it.

I received a card asking for my satisfaction level of the work performed and your technicians' service. I had lost all water pressure late on a Sunday night. I called your number expecting to get voice mail. Instead an answering service responded. In a short amount of time a technician returned my call and assured my I would be contacted the next morning. Monday morning, the tech showed up after contacting me to let me know he was on the way. He inspected everything expecting to find a leak but instead found a burned up well pump and chafed wiring in the well. He pulled and replaced my pump and the wiring. My well was back working by noon. I really appreciated the expedited service and the professionalism he showed.

Preliminaries: I should begin with my appreciation to Ray Sparrow whose timely and informative response to my email question about our water system problem convinced me to initiate this project. After discussing the possible causes, and solutions, to the problem, I opted to begin with an evaluation of our well by TWS personnel. This was scheduled right away and completed in less than a day. The information provided by the tech, plus Ray's previous information , strongly suggested that the best course of action would be to have the well deepened in hopes of increasing static volume and possibly leading to a higher return rate of flow. A subsequent conversation with Ray confirmed this and also that the Hudson Well Company would be a good choice. Ray agreed to contact them on our behalf and assist with scheduling and TWS would coordinate and complete the project. The Project: It all went very well. When the re-drilling was completed, the tech completed the installation, which included deepening the pump location, installing a new pump, replacing a defective pressure tank and checking out and chlorinating the system. He took the time to go over everything done with me and what I might need to do in the next week or two, e.g., flush chlorine and run coliforms check. He mentioned that he had set the water pressure provisionally, but if we noticed fluctuations, he would come back and adjust it. He was very knowledgeable, personable and a pleasure to work with.
Bottom Line: We could not be happier with the service and outcome of this project. We now have a well and system producing the quality and quantity of water that meets our needs. I can't overemphasize how important and comforting it was to have TWS coordinating this project. ” —John C., Central NC

The work done was replacement of my water pump, holding tank, and a hose bib.
I am extremely pleased with the work that the tech did as well as his responsiveness.
My water stopped working on a Sunday afternoon.
I called your office and discussed what was going on. The technician soon called me, and we discussed what was going on. He interrupted his weekend and was at my house within a couple of hours.
He quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad well pump. I told him I also wanted the holding tank replaced when he did the pump replacement as the existing tank was original to the construction of the house and way overdue for replacement. He worked up an estimate for me and I told him let's make it happen asap.
The next morning, I was informed by your office that work would be able to start the work that morning. I think he arrived at around 9:00 a.m. and worked his you know what off for the next 4 or 5 hours replacing the pump, holding tank, and a hose bib that I only remembered that morning also needed replacement. I had water that afternoon, and a new, clean holding tank!!! YAY!!!
Also, the pricing came in close to what he quoted……plus the hose bib replacement.
So, bottom line is I was without water for no more than 24 hours I think. I'm was, and am, a happy customer!!. I have used you folks for years for plumbing repair, and while you are certainly not the cheapest out there, you always provide great service. I have been in the construction industry for over 25 years and can truly appreciate folks doing what they say they will and doing it when they say they will do it. I'm more than happy to share my thoughts on your services and technicians. First, the salesman did an excellent job explaining the options available for our water treatment system. His explanations were clear and we agreed to the installation with a good understanding of the system we were purchasing. The technicians were timely and professional during the installation. They left the work site clean and the equipment was installed in an easy to access part of our crawl space. The only thing I would have liked to have been done differently as far as the installation is that it would have been nice if the tubing for the reverse osmosis system would have been attached to the floor joists instead of hanging free. I am guilty of not looking before they left or I am sure they would have installed plastic hangers. I am also concerned about the drain pipe when winter comes. The reverse osmosis system drains a lot of waste water and I wonder how it is not going to freeze during our coldest winter weather.

I'm more than happy to share my thoughts on your services and technicians. First, the salesman did an excellent job explaining the options available for our water treatment system. His explanations were clear and we agreed to the installation with a good understanding of the system we were purchasing. The technicians were timely and professional during the installation. They left the work site clean and the equipment was installed in an easy to access part of our crawl space. The only thing I would have liked to have been done differently as far as the installation is that it would have been nice if the tubing for the reverse osmosis system would have been attached to the floor joists instead of hanging free. I am guilty of not looking before they left or I am sure they would have installed plastic hangers. I am also concerned about the drain pipe when winter comes. The reverse osmosis system drains a lot of waste water and I wonder how it is not going to freeze during our coldest winter weather.

I discovered mid morning that I had no water. TWS easily
fit me into the schedule that same day, on a Friday, to have someone come
out after lunch around 1pm. The tech was prompt, pleasant, professional, and
easy-going. He worked steadily (not feverishly or acting annoyed) for 4
hours or so. He updated me as he discovered the issues, explained the cost,
and explained in detail what he was doing. At my request, he would come get
me to show me what he was doing so that I could understand by explanation
and by seeing what was happening. He answered all my questions to my
satisfaction. Of course, best of all, what he diagnosed as wrong WAS really
the problem, he fixed it, and all has been well! No return visits, no nickel
and diming until the real problem was discovered. It was a beautiful, sunny,

My wife and I recently had a saltless water system installed by your company. Your product was very competitively priced as compared to other brands. The people that I interacted with through the process were all very helpful and knowledgeable. We unknowingly had a pressure tank that was failing and needed to be replaced which was brought to our attention during the consultation. Our tank is located in our crawl space under one of our guest bedrooms. The pressure switch for our tank would constantly switch on and off. A couple of weeks ago, on a Saturday morning, my wife turned the tap and no water came out. I checked the voltage at the well head and determined that there was power, so there must be something else wrong. At this point, we checked Angie's list and called your company. Within an hour, your tech showed up and began to analyze the situation. He did a very thorough job eliminating all possibilities before determining that we had to pull the pump. He had all of the right tools and within minutes, the pump was up and 250 feet of pipe was stretched out on the ground.
He was very knowledgeable and patiently answered my many questions. As it turns out, the pump was running, but the shaft was broken, so it wasn't pumping. He replaced the pump with a new one, and lowered it into the well. He then purged and disinfected the well.
Overall, I would give your tech an A+ for his promptness, tolerance for my questions, knowledge and customer service. If I have a problem again, I will call you.

On that particular day, I woke up that morning to discover that we had no water because our well pump was not operational. We recently purchased our home and it was under a home warranty. They sent out someone from a "general service" company out of Raleigh (Star Service, I think). By that time, it was very late in the afternoon, and I was facing the prospect of spending a night without water but luckily you sent a technician out right away who went immediately to work on pulling out the pump to finally determine if that was indeed the problem. After pulling the pump, he determined it was definitely fried, so I called the home warranty company and your tech helped explain the issue very well to them and gave them an accurate quote for the work required so I was able to get the full coverage offered by the warranty ($1500). He had all of the equipment, tools, and materials needed (including a pump) on hand and replaced the pump in very short order. Nonetheless, given the very late start, the job was not complete until about 7:30pm, but that did not deter the technician from putting forth the effort to ensure a quality job and to taking the time to explain important issues regarding care and maintenance of the new pump. It was truly a relief to work with someone who clearly knew what he was doing and to be confident in knowing it was a job well done. I shall certainly be calling upon your company again. The tech was really good, but I did have a couple questions. He said I would have to get an electrician to install a permanent plug for the treatment system. I have not checked into this, but I doubt it will be "cheap". This would have been nice to know ahead of time. Secondly, I have a fenced yard, and my dog stays out back when the weather is nice, but the water is draining into this (small) fenced in area. I guess I "assumed" it would be drained outside the fence. Again, would have been nice to know ahead of time. I don't really like my dog drinking the drain water!

Caleb was very helpful but told me the truth that he would try to get it out and could tell me what got it stuck. He and Robbie worked on my well in the rain and did not give up. After the first day, not getting it out, he said he would not give up on the well and keep on trying. I broke down in tears and Caleb reassure me that he will do anything in his power to help.
He and Robbie came back and work on the well again. In the meanwhile, it was clear that I needed water for the house and Caleb told me that I could get water through The Water Specialist, if I wanted this. I never knew I could buy water for the house and the water specialist was the only one that had offered this. It was really a blessing to have water flowing through the house and to be able to flush toilets.
The trailer with the water tank stood next to the house. A lot of my neighbors asked what that was and they never knew they could buy water that way in case of an emergency. The service given was excellent and was honest in what he could and couldn't do. I really appreciate his hard work and honesty.
Robbie came with the camera and had the patience to show me what he was doing and how it worked. I never knew that a well specialist had to be licensed and trained for everything that comes with the job. I learned that day, that you had to know what you are doing other wise you can mess up big time. And I learned this the hard way.
Robbie and Caleb were both very helpful and told me what they were doing and what to expect and what came next. I did not have to question anything and they told me as soon as they were done. Ms. Gail was the one that kept the communication and water tank going on. If I had any question or needed a refill for the water tank, she was the one that made sure that someone had a answer or send someone to refill my water tank. Great customer service! Mr. Sparrow was the one that explain my choices. I told him that this was my first well and that I did not know anything about wells. Lucky for me he was experienced and took the time to look at my well and agree to help me find a solution. He explained the options I had and told me he could not give guarantee for water but will do the best he can to help us. He helped us a lot by finding a driller that was willing to clean out our well. I thought God had forgotten about my well but then The Water Specialist called with good news that they had found a driller. He cleaned it out and The Water Specialist came back to get the water up and running. Robert came out to my house and I ask him if he thinks I would have water again. And he said yes, by the time I'm done you I'll have water. I was really happy to hear this but I needed to see the water flowing first through the faucet.
The water trailer was still there for backup, so I was not afraid for not having water. Robert worked very hard and he got the water flowing through the house. It took a while for our water to be back but God knew we could not pay everyone when the well broke down. He send the right people to help us at the right time. And The Water Specialist people saved our water.
